End-of-Life Care

Dying is sacred. I offer compassionate, non-clinical support for individuals and families navigating end-of-life transitions. Grounded in presence, ritual, and deep listening, I create space for dignity, clarity, and emotional care during one of life’s most vulnerable thresholds.

Whether you're preparing for your own journey or walking alongside a loved one, I provide guidance that honors the body, spirit, and story. Services may include:

  • Advance care planning & legacy projects

  • Vigil presence & bedside support

  • Grief support for families & caregivers

  • Ritual design rooted in cultural/spiritual resonance

Each experience is tailored to reflect your values and needs. I am here to walk with you—not to fix, but to hold space.

 FAQs

    • End-of-life care, as I offer it, is non-medical support that centers the emotional, spiritual, and practical needs of individuals and families as death approaches. It can complement hospice and palliative care, and can begin much earlier—before active dying has begun. My work honors the soul, the story, and the sacredness of this life transition.

    • Palliative care focuses on improving quality of life for people living with serious illnesses—at any stage—not just the end of life. It can be provided alongside curative treatments.

    • Hospice care is a medical service offered when someone is nearing the end of life, often with a prognosis of six months or less, and when curative treatments are no longer being pursued. It typically includes nurses, doctors, and chaplains working as a team.

  • End-of-life care is not only for the final days or hours of life—it’s a sacred support that can begin months or even years before death. You might consider these services when:

    • You or a loved one has received a life-limiting diagnosis and want intentional, heart-centered planning.

    • There is a desire to create a sense of peace, meaning, and clarity around the dying process.

    • You are navigating anticipatory grief or seeking spiritual guidance.

    • You want to explore rituals, legacy projects, or personalized farewell ceremonies.

    • You simply need someone to walk alongside you—present, grounded, and without judgment.

There is no “too soon” to seek support. Beginning early can be a gift for everyone involved.

  • A death doula is a compassionate guide, space-holder, and advocate who supports individuals and families through the sacred threshold of dying. My role is to:

    • Offer emotional and spiritual companionship.

    • Hold space for grief, fear, joy, and everything in between.

    • Help create personalized rituals or practices that bring comfort and meaning.

    • Support legacy or memory-making activities.

    • Assist with practical planning, like vigil arrangements or after-death wishes.

    • Be present—listening deeply, honoring autonomy, and centering the dignity of the person transitioning.

Think of a death doula as a steady lantern-bearer in the dark: I do not lead the path, but I walk beside you, illuminating what matters most.

  • Each person’s needs are unique, and I tailor my support to honor the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Emotional and spiritual care might include:

    • Active listening and presence, allowing space to name fears, joys, regrets, or hopes.

    • Guided meditations, breathing practices, or sacred rest.

    • Spiritual companionship, which can include prayer, poetry, or sacred texts if desired.

    • Grief tending and meaning-making before and after death.

    • Ritual creation—from bedside blessings to ancestral altars, farewell ceremonies, or sacred anointing.

    • Support for families and caregivers as they navigate uncertainty, exhaustion, or loss.

This care is always affirming, inclusive, and grounded in your values—not bound by any single religious tradition, unless you desire that.
